About Us

The Monroe Louisiana Mentor program was the first program opened in 2005. This Louisiana MENTOR program contracts and provides youth and adult services in a family based host home model for OJJ, OCS and OCDD. This program can serve host homes in the following parishes: Union, Ouachita, Richland, East and West Carroll, Caldwell, Lincoln, Jackson, Morehouse, Madison, Franklin and Tensas. The Monroe program is also expanding its host homes to the Shreveport/Bossier area. Louisiana MENTOR is an innovative home and community-based services provider serving children and adolescents with physical, emotional and behavioral needs as well as court-involved youth. Our programs including our host home model and related services are designed around the needs of each individual we serve and focused on building positive relationships that provide the foundation for development, growth and change.
